Who we are
Visaboo is a travel agency based in Bangladesh. We provide visa processing, air ticketing, tours, hotel bookings and Umrah packages. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, why we need it and how we look after it. Our contact details are on the contact page.
What we collect
We only ask for what we need to handle your request:
- Visa applications and flight booking requests: each traveller’s full name, date of birth, nationality, passport number and passport expiry date, the documents you upload (such as a passport scan and photo), and your contact name, email address and phone number.
- Enquiries and the contact form: your name, email address, phone number, your message, and for tours, hotels and Umrah packages the dates and number of travellers you chose.
- Reviews: your name, email address, rating and review. Your email address is never shown on the site.
- Newsletter: your email address.
- Technical information: the IP address a form was sent from, which helps us stop spam and abuse, and the server logs that every website keeps.
Your passport scan
When you choose a passport scan on the application form, the form reads the details from it inside your own browser to fill in the fields for you. The scan is not sent to any other service to be read. It is only sent to us, together with your other documents, when you submit the application.
How we use your information
- To prepare and submit your visa application to the embassy, consulate or immigration authority of the country you are visiting.
- To book flights, hotels, tours and Umrah packages with airlines, hotels and other travel providers on your behalf.
- To answer your enquiries and tell you about the progress of your application or booking, by email, phone or WhatsApp.
- To send you our newsletter, if you subscribed to it.
- To keep the website secure and protect it from spam and misuse.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for anything other than the purposes above.
Who we share it with
We share your information only when it is needed to provide the service you asked for:
- embassies, consulates and immigration authorities, which decide on your visa;
- airlines, hotels, tour operators and other travel providers that carry out your booking;
- companies that host this website and deliver our emails, under their own confidentiality obligations;
- the authorities, when the law requires us to.
How we protect it
Documents you upload are stored privately: they are never published on the website and can only be opened by our staff after signing in to our back office. The link to your application page is emailed only to you, so please keep that email to yourself. Anyone with the link can see the application, although never your documents.
How long we keep it
We keep your information for as long as we need it to complete your application or booking and to meet our legal and accounting obligations. After that we delete it. You can ask us to delete it sooner, as described below.
Cookies
This website uses only the cookies it needs to work, such as the one that keeps a form secure while you fill it in. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. The map on the contact page is provided by Google Maps, which may set its own cookies when it loads.
Your choices and rights
- You can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct it.
- You can ask us to delete your information once your application or booking is finished.
- You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time with the link in any newsletter email.
To make a request, contact us. We may ask you to confirm who you are before we act on it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always the one on this page.
