This policy explains when you can get your money back if you cancel a visa application or a booking with Visaboo. If anything here is unclear, please ask us before you pay.
Visa applications
- An application is priced as three fees for each traveller: the Visa Fee (paid to the embassy or immigration authority), our Management Fee and the Platform Fee. The breakdown is shown on the visa page, the application form and your application page.
- If you cancel before we have submitted your application to the embassy, we refund everything you have paid, less any cost we have already incurred on your behalf (such as an appointment booking or a courier).
- Once your application has been submitted, the Visa Fee is not refundable: it is paid to the embassy, which does not return it. The Management Fee and Platform Fee are not refundable either, as the work they pay for has been done.
- A refused visa is not a reason for a refund. The decision belongs to the embassy or immigration authority, and its fee is charged whatever the outcome.
- If we cannot submit your application because of a mistake on our part, we refund all the fees for that application in full.
Flights
- A flight booking request is not a ticket. Nothing is charged until our team has confirmed the fare and seat with you; if you change your mind before then, there is nothing to refund.
- Once a ticket is issued, the airline’s fare rules decide whether it can be refunded or changed, and what the airline charges for it. Each flight in our results says whether its fare is refundable.
- Where the airline allows a refund, we pass on the amount the airline returns to us, less its cancellation charge and our service charge, which we tell you before you cancel.
Tours, hotels and Umrah packages
- A booking is confirmed only after a consultant has checked availability and the final price with you. The cancellation terms for your dates are given to you in writing at that point.
- Hotels, airlines and ground services each set their own cancellation rules. Where a supplier keeps a deposit or charges a cancellation fee, that amount is not refundable.
- Umrah packages depend on the Saudi visa, flights and hotels booked for your group. Once the Umrah visa has been issued, its fee is not refundable.
How to ask for a refund
- Contact us by email, phone or WhatsApp with your reference number and the name on the booking or application.
- We reply within three working days to confirm whether a refund is due and how much it will be.
- Refunds are paid by the method you paid with (bKash, Nagad, bank transfer or card), or in cash at our office for cash payments, usually within 7 to 14 working days of being approved. Card and bank refunds can take longer to reach your account.
We may update this policy from time to time. The version on this page when you pay is the one that applies to your application or booking.
